Orangutans & Biodiversity
Orangutans and Proboscis monkeys have been particularly impacted by the deforestation in Borneo, Peat swamp forests are key habitats for these unique animals. They build nests and sleep in the canopy of tall trees in the forest and along the rivers. They coexist well with other wildlife and along with sun-bears, clouded leopards, a diverse selection of fauna- make our forest in Borneo, Indonesia a biodiversity hotspot.
InfiniteEARTH and Rimba Raya pay particular attention to preserving the forests under our care, engaging in restoration, conservation and reforesting activities to protect endangered species. Our combined efforts have made our project one of the most effective in Borneo.
